I have a collection of Spanish-language short stories written for an adult audience that I need rendered into clear, natural-sounding English. The voice should stay neutral—no stiff formality, but no slang either—so readers feel they are experiencing the same tone as the original. Every cultural reference, idiom, place name, or period detail must remain intact; I want the translation to preserve the author’s world rather than adapt it to an English-speaking culture.
The project involves full text translation, not summary. Accurate meaning, consistent character voices, and smooth narrative flow are critical. Please keep paragraph breaks, italics, and any embedded dialogue formatting exactly as they appear. Deliver each story in an editable Word document with the original Spanish paragraph followed immediately by its English counterpart for easy review.
