I run a small English-Hindi-English translation service in Lucknow (UP) and am now looking to expand. For this, I seek like-minded individuals with similar freelance experience.
I'm looking for a reliable linguistic partner fluent in both English and Hindi. Projects vary in size—from short emails to full reports—and accuracy, tone, and formatting are essential. Translations should feel native in the target language.
Most files arrive as Word, PDF, PowerPoint, or text. If layout matters, I’ll provide the source to replicate formatting. CAT tools like Trados, MemoQ, or Wordfast are helpful but not required if consistency is maintained.
Turnaround can range from same-day (for short jobs) to several days (for larger ones). Confidentiality is a must—delete files after completion.
Deliverables:
• Final translation in original format
• Glossary if terms repeat
• Prompt responses during review
To start, please share your native language direction, experience, CAT tools (if any), and subject strengths—legal, technical, marketing, academic, etc. A paid sample will follow if your profile aligns.
Requirements:
(1) Prior Hindi-English or English-Hindi translation experience
(2) Minimum 2 years of experience
(3) Ability to approach and bring in clients
The model will be profit-sharing based.
