Kaithi Khatiyan English Translation
Budget: ₹1,000 – ₹5,000 INR
I have a land-record Khatiyan handwritten in the Kaithi script. My goal is to translate only the portions that matter most—plot descriptions, owner names, boundaries, remarks, and any revenue or tax notes—into clear, natural English while preserving every legal nuance.
The full document is roughly four pages; after awarding the project I will mark the exact lines and columns that require attention. If some Kaithi characters are faint or archaic, please add short bracketed notes that explain your reading so I can see how you reached a term.
Deliverables:
• An editable English transcript of the marked sections, laid out in the same order they appear in the original
• Inline references or footnotes for any terms that have no direct English equivalent or whose meaning is uncertain
I am happy to supply high-resolution scans and can answer follow-up questions about context. Accuracy and legibility matter more than speed, but a first draft within three days would be ideal so we have time for one revision round.
