English-Spanish Literary Translation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a little over 1,000 words of literary, creative prose in English that I need rendered into clear, elegant Spanish while preserving every nuance of the original voice. The final text must read naturally to native speakers and maintain a formal register throughout.
Scope of work
• Translate the full text into Spanish, mirroring all headings, paragraph breaks, and any italics or bold styling.
• Proofread your own work so grammar, spelling, and punctuation are flawless.
• Deliver the finished file as a .docx created in Microsoft Word.
• (Optional but welcome) Add brief translator notes for any culturally adapted turns of phrase.
What I’m looking for
You are a native Spanish speaker with proven experience translating fiction, essays, or other creative pieces. A sensitive feel for imagery, rhythm, and tone is essential.
