English-French Correspondence Translation

Job ID: 40531816

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

I have a collection of general correspondence—mostly letters and emails—written in clear, everyday English that need to be rendered into natural, idiomatic French. The total volume sits between 1,000 and 5,000 words. Tone preservation is essential: each message should feel as if it were originally drafted by a native French speaker, friendly yet professional in style.

Source files will come in editable Word documents, and I’ll need the French versions returned in the same format, with all original layout, dates, salutations, and signatures intact. Please keep any informal nuances or colloquial turns of phrase, but avoid literal, word-for-word lifts that might sound stiff or unnatural.

Once you receive the files, a brief confirmation of receipt and projected turnaround time will keep things smooth. When the translations are ready, I’ll review for flow and accuracy; if I spot minor tweaks, I’ll send them right back so you can adjust quickly.

Deliverables:
• Word documents containing the French translations, matching the original formatting
• A short note outlining any sections where context was unclear or where cultural localisation choices were made

Completion of this batch may lead to ongoing assignments, as similar correspondence comes up regularly. Let me know your availability and typical pace so we can plan future work together seamlessly.
