Bilingual E-Commerce Copy Polish
Budget: €15 – €40 EUR
I’m about to launch an e-commerce site that sells silk pillowcases in both English and French, and I want the copy to read as though it were written by a native speaker in each language. The job blends light-touch copywriting with meticulous proofreading: some sections are already drafted and need a cultural once-over for tone, idiom, and flawless grammar; other areas—such as short product teasers, meta descriptions, and a few promotional banners—still need persuasive wording from scratch.
Scope of work
• Proofread every existing page in English and French, correcting grammar, spelling, punctuation, and any awkward phrasing.
• Adapt word choice or examples so they resonate with shoppers in the UK/US and France/Canada respectively, keeping cultural relevance top-of-mind.
• Write or refine concise product descriptions, CTA buttons, and email sign-off lines where drafts are missing or weak.
I value accuracy above all, but I’m also counting on you to make the text feel effortlessly local—no literal translations. When you reply, highlight projects where you’ve handled bilingual e-commerce content or luxury textiles; a short note on your approach is enough as long as it shows relevant experience.
Deliverables
1. A tracked-changes document (or comments in Shopify/WordPress) for every English and French page.
2. Final clean copy ready to publish.
3. A brief summary of any cultural or marketing insights you applied.
Once the site goes live, I may need the same level of polish for drip emails and social ads, so a smooth collaboration here could lead to ongoing work.
