Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have several anime scripts that require precise, culturally faithful translation between English and Japanese. Every line must preserve the intended tone, humor, and character voice so the final script reads as if it were originally written in the target language. I also have a few legal contracts tied to the production that will need the same level of accuracy and clarity.
Here’s what I’m expecting from you:
• A polished translation of each episode or scene, formatted in the original script layout.
• Built-in proofreading so the draft I receive is ready for immediate use.
• Nuanced word choices that respect industry terminology, honorifics, and cultural references without awkward literalism.
• If you work in Aegisub, Final Draft, or a similar tool, please let me know—time-coded dialogue is a plus but not essential.
I’ll supply the source text in Word or PDF along with character notes, glossary terms, and a rough delivery schedule. When you return the translation, I should be able to plug it straight into production with no additional editing beyond our internal review.
