Amharic-English Translation -- 2
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a reliable linguist to translate a batch of documents—somewhere between 10 and 50 pages in total—between Amharic and English. Accuracy, natural flow, and preservation of tone are critical to me; the finished files should read as if they were originally written in the target language.
You will receive the material in editable Word/PDF format and should return:
• A clean, well-formatted Word file for each source file
• The original layout, headings, and basic styling preserved
• A short translator’s note for any idiom or phrase that requires explanation
I will review each file for fidelity to the source, grammatical soundness, and consistent terminology before releasing final approval. If you use CAT tools such as SDL Trados or memoQ, please mention it—glossary consistency is a plus, though not mandatory.
Turnaround time can be discussed once you see the exact page count, but I’d prefer to keep the whole project within a fortnight if possible.
