Academic Literature Translation
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have an academic text on literary studies—fewer than ten pages—that I need translated from French into English. The language must feel entirely natural while preserving every scholarly nuance, citation, and stylistic choice of the original author.
The job is straightforward: deliver a publish-ready English version in .docx format, complete with any required footnote or citation adjustments (MLA style). A brief glossary for delicate or culture-bound terms—just a dozen entries or so—is welcome if you believe it will improve clarity.
Because the piece is short, turnaround is important. Three calendar days from project award will keep my timetable intact. CAT tools such as Trados or MemoQ are fine if they support your quality process, but I value human-crafted accuracy above all.
Send a quick note confirming your experience with academic or literary translation and, if possible, point me to a comparable sample. Once everything looks good, I’ll share the text and green-light the work.
