Seeking recordings of English teaching lessons
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Hello everybody!
I'm putting together a range of video examples showing what it's like to actually teach an English language class. These videos would be used for teacher training purposes.
Ideally, the examples would run through the full length of the class - from the start when you're waiting for the student(s) to arrive, up to the final goodbye at the end. This would help to give people a really good taste of what it's like for a teacher.
However, shorter 5-30 minute clips could also be useful, for example:
- Showing a game being explained and played.
- Showing how a teacher helps a shy student to build confidence and engage
- Showing individual & choral drilling being used
- Showing praise and motivation being used well
- Helping students to understand certain tenses/sentence structures
At the moment i'm currently looking for all ranges of ESL class (young learners/teens/adults and online/in-class/private tutoring).
For in-class lessons, there wouldn't need to be any fancy camera work - just a stationary camera would be fine.
If you feel like you could be a match then please get in touch with some information about who you are, the type of teaching you do, and if possible a sample video would certainly be useful (i'd need to make sure that you would be able to record with clear video and audio).
Payment would start at $100 minimum for each video, but could be more depending on each case (the length of the video, quality, etc).
Note - it would be very helpful if you can confirm that your students/their guardians are ok with the video being used for teacher training purposes. If permission can't be assured, then we'll look into blurring out their faces (it's possible, though this wouldn't be ideal).
