Enthusiastic Online English Teachers Wanted
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
AEEA is an online one-on-one English training organization established in Melbourne, Australia. Our main focus is to provide high-quality English language education services to primary-school-age students in China and Japan. The teaching content is designed to support the successful implementation of the elements specified in The Common Core State Standard of the United States. We aim to offer high-quality but also fun and relaxed English learning activities. In addition, we can further tailor the course and learning style to cater to the needs of individual students.
We are now hiring highly capable English teachers to help students develop and strengthen their language skills. Teaching time can be flexible and could potentially be undertaken from anywhere around the world. You need to be available for a minimum of 5 teaching hours per week. During the initial trial period, minimum hours are not guaranteed, and students will be assigned to you so we can assess your suitability for this work. We are looking for teachers who can demonstrate commitment to the role which could lead to more teaching hours, while your student base builds up.
Key Selection Criteria:
•Native English Speakers
•Qualification: a recognized EFL or TESOL is highly preferred, however not compulsory
•Availability:
Weekdays: 16:00 - 21:00 (UTC/GMT+8)
Weekends: 9:00 - 21:00 (UTC/GMT+8)
•Minimum 2 years of English teaching experience
•Ability to follow the course resources and develop curriculum in consultation with students
•Capable and ready to teach primary school-age students of all levels
•Reliable Internet connection(download >30Mbps, upload > 20Mbps), headset and clean and presentable teaching environment
•Being accountable, showing initiative, and being punctual are extremely important attributes!
•Register your availability at least 2 weeks in advance and check teaching schedule/notifications on ClassIn regularly

Salary
•Rate AUD $25 - $30 per hour based on previous experience/qualifications
•You need to work as a sole trader or independent contractor
•Salary review every 12 months and year-round reward schemes
•Expected start from Mid Aug 2023 (negotiable)
