Job ID: 33223529

Budget: $10 – $30 CAD

1. Wedding Date: March 19, 2022!!
Welcome, everyone. My name is Shelley and I’m the happiest mother a bride has ever had.
Thank you for being here to celebrate the happy marriage of my oldest daughter and my new son in law.

daughter’s name? Adelle husband name Tony

6. Write briefly what your daughter was like when she was a toddler or kid

29 years ago we were blessed with a precious little gem, who we nicknamed Wiggler then shortened to Wiggy. We were the proudest parents on earth.
I was very fortunate to be given the luxury to be a stay-at-home mom. I was able to spend all my time with Adelle. I have so many memories it was hard to select only a few.
A funny incident was at the grocery store and Adelle loved to pick an item off the shelf and one time she managed to slip away. Of course, I panicked but everyone working at the store knew me. I asked a few of them to look for her. They were laughing when they found her in the vegetable section eating the green beans!

From the time Nadine was born, Adelle showed her natural motherly instincts. It is exciting to look forward to being a grandparent.
I have great memories of choosing her Halloween costumes and party dresses for Christmas and Easter. The sewing machine was almost a permanent fixture on the dining room table.

7. What was she like when she was a teenager? Can you share an incident that’s so memorable? (Please provide as much details as you can)

- accomplishment in school or in his life

My absolute most cherished memory is figure skating with Adelle. We spent almost 8 years together on the ice. Many carnivals, test days and competitions. The sewing machine came out again to create her dresses and costumes for competitions. Adelle ended her last season with a couple of gold metals. I know you will figure skate again as I did. Hopefully I will be able to skate with you too! Imagine 3 generations on the ice! I think we can include Colleen and Ashley as they also figure skated in the past!
Adelle also loves to play the Piano. She spent many of her younger years taking lessons from her grandma Napier. My mother loved teaching young children to play the piano. She was thrilled to be teaching her grand daughter.

10. How did you feel when she told you she was in love with the groom?

(It was a difficult time – there is still healing going on. We did not approve at first. He took her away. I need a bit of help.)

We always wanted our girls to marry a professional and she did – an accountant. Taylor, your accomplishments speak for themselves. You are a good balance for Adelle.
Taylor is very thoughtful guy, he always leaves a sock or something under the bed for me to fine later!

11. What’s the name of the groom? And why do you think he’s the right gentleman for your princess! Eg. He’s a person of integrity means little. But just staying why he is honest does the trick
Maybe blend this with the number 10.
Taylor. (this is the hard part, he does not gel with the family all that well. He is getting better. So it is hard to say something.)

12. What are you looking forward to or your hope and aspirations for the couple?

Adelle, today is your wedding day. It's something a mother wishes and waits for from the time her daughter is born until she walks down the aisle. You deserve nothing but the best.
We are very happy you have found your life partner. I know you will be a wonderful and caring wife and daughter-in-law.
Know that I will always be here to guide and support you along the way. This journey will take you in many different directions and I want my precious daughter to be happy in her life’s new chapter.
My wish for you both is throughout your life together; you will walk hand in hand no matter the storms you face and I wish you the very best.
13. What kind of speech do you want? Sentimental and touching

14. The speech should be short – I am speaking after my husband
