You'll need to know Mail Chimp reasonably well and how to work with a WordPress website. We're a transcription company, which is a pretty specialized market. We transcribe the spoken word. I'm the owner and I've been doing this for 30 years, but I just don't have much time to work on marketing. It might be a good idea to research transcription companies before you respond. I mostly do mailers to researchers and oral historians using Vista Print and weekly letters to my clients on Mail Chimp.
Tell me about your experience with grammar--really important in a transcription company. It's kind of a scholarly profession, we deal with PhDs and MDs a lot, and it requires a lot of research.
But I think humor is really important too. I can't list a sense of humor in the skills list below, but people remember and keep in touch with funny people.
