Job description: Three processes you have to do to complete your job.
First: Scoring Process (Give Band Scores from 1 to 9 in Task 1 and 2)
You are expected to receive an email with IELTS essays of Task 1 or 2 in MOS Word file format from us (approximately 1 to 5 essays daily depending on the time and situation), which are written by our students. As soon as you receive them, please start carefully reading the essays and scoring them on a scale of 1 to 9 based on IELTS assessment criteria: Task Achievement/Response, Coherence & Lexical Resource, Grammatical Range & Accuracy (See the example below).
*This process is extremely important for your job because you “MUST” know how IELTS Academic and General Task 1&2 Writing Sections are evaluated.

Second: Editing Process (give feedback and correct mistakes)
After you finish scoring the original essays, you need to give brief feedback to each scored section explaining why you think each section is scored like that and how they can be improved. Then, you start editing and correcting their mistakes such as grammar, spells, vocabulary and phases that are not applicable to IELTS Academic writing in the MOS Word file format. It would be more beneficial if you added two or three sentences that make the essays gain higher score.

Third: Submitting Process
Once you are done with everything above, you are required to submit us the edited essays via email. Please be sure to finalize the above process and submit us an essay within 48 hours after you receive the original essays.

Salary: Fixed ($1, $3 or $4 for each essay)
Salary of editing each essay comes to $3 (Task1) and $4 (Task2) * You cannot choose which one to edit.
Task1:$3 (each essay)
Task2:$4 (each essay)
*Tutors must have a probation period of editing 5 essays.
During this period, your salary for each essay comes down to $1.
Task 1 & 2:$1 (each essay)

Payment : Your salary will be paid every two weeks through upwork.
See the example below that explains the detail of how you get paid.
*Ex.
You work for two weeks and have done editing 100 essays : 50 essays for Task1, 50 essays for Task2. We pay you $350 : $150 for Task 1($3×50 essays ), $200 for Task2 ($4×50 essays).

Hiring Process : Attend a trial test (Task 1 & 2) requested.
For you to join us, you are required to take a trial test to be judged if you are eligible for being our tutor. In the test, we give you two essays ( IELTS Academic Task 1 and 2) in Mos word format as a sample and you need to score, edit, and give feedback within 48 hours.
Please note that only hired candidates will be contacted after the test.
