I’m putting together an English textbook that teaches grammar and punctuation to children aged 9-12 through engaging short stories. You’ll write (or adapt) a collection of lively, age-appropriate narratives that naturally weave in the target rules—everything from comma placement to subject-verb agreement—so students learn the mechanics without slogging through dry drills.
After each story I need a concise set of activities: a quick-check quiz, one or two creative practice prompts, and a short editing task where students correct errors inside a paragraph. An answer key should follow every chapter so teachers and parents can check work easily.
The tone should feel modern and relatable—think adventurous plots, clever dialogue, and characters this age group will connect with—while keeping vocabulary accessible for intermediate readers. Please format the manuscript in clear sections (story, activities, answers) so it can move straight into layout when finished.
