Job Title: English Children's Book & Story Writer – Virtue Education (Remote)
Overview
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Children's Book Writer to craft engaging stories centered around 52 core virtues (such as kindness, respect, honesty, and responsibility). These short stories will form part of Charalle Education’s 36-week learning curriculum.
Responsibilities
Write age-appropriate, engaging short stories and fables for children (ages 4–10).
Incorporate character virtues naturally into fun, relatable narratives.
Provide clear story scripts and visual descriptions to guide cartoon illustrators.
Revise drafts based on feedback from the curriculum manager.
Required Skills
Strong creative writing background with an emphasis on children's literature.
Flawless English grammar, tone, and storytelling ability.
Ability to break complex moral concepts into simple, inspiring stories.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Candidates based in Malaysia or Taiwan.
Background in early childhood education or ESL teaching.
Ability to speak/understand Chinese.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (Melbourne, Australia Time / AEST)
Rate
AUD $4.00 – $7.00 / hour
Deliverables
Weekly completed story scripts with scene descriptions.
Accompanying reading comprehension questions and virtue reflection prompts.
