I am looking for a structural engineer who specializes in residential projects and can assist with the design phase.

I need a MN. Stamped structural engineered plan.
I have a townhouse unit with a 5‘ x 18‘ unsupported balcony. They were built 50 years ago with SPF lumber 16” of and they are now failing. I would like to replace it the way it was built but with treated lumber. My plan was to use, 15 foot long 2 x 8 treated lumber, 10 feet inside the house lagged and nailed to existing trusses with 5 feet unsupported outside. I was also considering doubling up every 2 x 8. They were originally built with 2 x 6 decking and I would also use that again.
