Translate Machinery Manual from English to Chinese

The task is a straight, accurate translation of an English machinery user guide into simplified Chinese. The document is written for engineers and technicians, so every table, label, and safety note has to read naturally to a reader who understands engineering jargon, tolerances, and industry standards.
Source material: PDF + original Word file, ±40 pages with diagrams, call-outs, and a few embedded tables. I will supply a short glossary of preferred terms; anything not covered there should follow current mainland-China technical vocabulary. Please keep original layout, metric/imperial units, and figure references intact so I can drop the finished file straight back into our documentation set.
Expected deliverables
• Fully translated Word file mirroring the English layout
• Clean, print-ready PDF exported from that file
• A short terminology list for any new or ambiguous terms you encounter
Acceptance criteria
1. No machine-translation artefacts; sentences must flow naturally in Chinese.
2. All numbers, units, and part names match the source or the supplied glossary.
3. Final PDF passes a quick visual side-by-side check for pagination and figure placement.
CAT tools such as Trados or memoQ are welcome if they help you stay consistent, but plain Word is fine as long as the above criteria are met.
