3D Printed and Electronics-Outfitted TARS Robot
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I'm looking for an experienced professional to bring to life a miniature model of the TARS Robot from the movie Interstellar.
- **Model Size**: The model should be medium-sized, between 5 to 10 inches.
- **Model Detail**: A standard level of detail is expected, with moderate textures and details. It should be a faithful representation of the TARS robot from the film.
I am basing this project off of this:

- **Additional Features**: The final product will also include electronics like a Raspberry Pi integrated with ChatGPT. This will enable several functionalities:
- Voice Commands: The model should be able to react to a wake up command like 'Hello Tars' and then communicate back and forth.
- Movement Control: The model should be able to move in a predefined manner based off of the voice commands.
- LED Lights Display: The model should have an LED display similar to the one in the links above and based off of the TARS Robot from Interstellar.
I can provide you with an extracted audio file of all of TARS lines, which you can then turn into an AI voice using whichever AI voice engine you would like to use, such as Microsoft or Google.
Ideal candidates for this project should have:
- Proven experience in 3D modeling and 3D printing.
- Expertise in integrating electronics into 3D printed models.
- Familiarity with ChatGPT and Raspberry Pi for the purpose of automation and interactivity.
- A good understanding of the TARS Robot from the movie Interstellar would be a plus.
Please include any similar projects in your portfolio and an estimated timeline for completion. I want this entire project handled from Start to Finish, and a final prototype delivered to me via mail with clear instructions on it's use.
