Operations Coordinator (Working from Home)
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
Based in Central Belt to cover West Coast (Greenock, Helensburgh, Stranraer, Arduaine, Troon, Oban, Arran)
This unique and varied role involves creating, setting up and overseeing delivery of shore excursions for the small, luxury and expedition cruise lines visiting your area!!
Networking with our experienced team throughout the UK, the role involves:
Pre-Planning the arrangements for ships visiting West Coast (Greenock, Helensburgh, Stranraer, Arduaine, Troon, Oban, Arran) ports
Booking transport, guides and attractions
Developing new and exciting sightseeing experiences for the cruise lines to offer their guests visiting your area
Attending cruise ship calls as required and overseeing operations at the pier including the supervision of guides, coach drivers and any other casual staff
Assisting fellow team members with their roles in other ports
Working some weekends during the summer
The Candidate
Ideally with a background in tourism, events or hotels, you’ll:
Be proud of where you live
Have excellent communication skills and be able to deliver outstanding customer service
Have excellent administrative skills including accurate data entry
Have good attention to detail
Be proficient in MS Office including Excel
Be free to travel to other ports if required
You must also be a confident driver with a full clean driving licence.
Pay & Benefits:
Salary: In the region of £23,000 per annum (depending on experience)
