OpenFOAM Solver for plasma Torch
Budget: $100 – $150 CAD
Seeking an OpenFOAM expert to work on a solver for an inductively coupled plasma torch jet. The objective is to rebuild an existing custom solver by coupling a standard rhoPimpleFoam solver for the gas jet (fluid part) with a custom electromagnetic solver that calculates magnetic and electric properties. Both solvers have already been tested and are functioning correctly independently. The goal is to integrate these two solvers into a single, cohesive solver.
A detailed schematic guide, along with the mesh and step-by-step instructions, will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
-Combine the electromagnetic solver with the rhoPimpleFoam solver into one unified solver.
-Ensure that the coupled solver operates seamlessly and accurately.
-Validate the solver's performance against the expected results.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
Strong experience with OpenFOAM , particularly in multi-physics simulations.
Proven ability to couple solvers and handle complex simulation tasks.
Familiarity with jet simulations or similar high-energy processes.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Deliverables:
Fully integrated and operational custom solver.
