New Oleans- Post Katrina 2007

I drove from CT to New Orleans to see if I could help a few people. I quickly ended up moving into a homeless tent city at the steps of New Orleans City Hall. At the time I was 7 years in Recovery and a recent graduate from a Drug/Alcohol Counselor College Program in CT. I kept a daily diary of my experiences for my next 8 months there of which the first 2 months were in the tent city. I have over 200 pages of diary notes and 200 plus pictures. I started working on Burbon St setting up stages for local bands while in recovery. This was an adventure of my lifetime, and I did get to help some people out.
