Metal Corner Shelf for Dryer -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I need a sturdy, minimalist corner shelf fabricated and installed in my laundry to support a 64 kg heat-pump dryer. The shelf footprint must be exactly 590 mm × 590 mm and sit flush into the 90-degree junction where one wall is double brick and the other is single brick.
Dryer is currently hung on a bracket but is unusable as is.
My preference is for a metal construction—powder-coated steel or another corrosion-resistant option that will look clean and understated while giving absolute rigidity. Because of the mixed-wall composition, the fixing method is critical; I’m expecting appropriate anchors for both double and single brick, plus bracing or gusseting that keeps deflection to an absolute minimum when the machine is running.
