This project has three interrelated tasks: 1) design speed and heading controllers for the Kingfisher
USV; 2) design a guidance controller that computes the speed and heading commands needed to
follow a set of waypoints; and 3) conduct experiments to develop improved vertex sampling, edge
connection, and path optimization strategies to find valid paths through a virtual environment using
the PRM sampling-based motion planning method.
