Intro to Ansys for fluids mechanics (not that hard

Job ID: 35341964

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Complete the Steady Flow Past a Cylinder Using Ansys Workbench
2. The submission must include the following
a. Certificate of completion (the module is free, if not don’t buy)
b. Sample results showing the nature of flow field, no more than 3 pages.
c. Perform the analysis for at least five different Reynolds number to capture
the trend for drag coefficient variation from laminar to turbulent flow
regimes. Compare these results with the theoretical values, and the
experimental values from Lab-2-cylinder experiment by plotting Cd vs Re.
d. Perform the analysis for one inviscid flow (no effect of Re → 0) case for
Mach number = 0.1 (M=0.1). Compare the coefficient of pressure
distribution with the theoretical values by plotting Cp vs θ. Make sure to
use the Inviscid solver.

2) Complete the Unsteady Flow Past a Cylinder
4. The submission must include the following
a. Certificate of completion (the module is free, if not don’t buy)
b. Sample results showing the nature of flow field, no more than three pages.
c. Perform the analysis for at least five different Reynolds number to capture
the trend for Strouhal number variation from laminar to turbulent flow
regimes. Compare these results with the theoretical values, and the
experimental values from Lab-4-cylinder experiment by plotting St vs Re.
