Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have several technical manuals written in Indonesian that must be rendered into clear, precise English without losing their engineering terminology or procedural detail. You will work exclusively in the Indonesian-to-English direction, and experience with technical language is essential so the final text reads naturally to an English-speaking technician while remaining faithful to the source.
If you are comfortable handling diagrams, tables, and occasional industry-specific acronyms within the file, that is a plus—I would like the translated version to mirror the original layout as closely as possible so my internal team can slot it straight into our documentation set.
Deliverables I expect:
• A fully translated, proof-read English version of each manual in the original file format (currently Word and PDF).
• A brief glossary of any specialised terms you standardised across the documents.
• Confirmation that all figures, captions, and cross-references match the new language.
Please include a sample of similar technical work or a short test paragraph so I can gauge style and accuracy. I am ready to begin as soon as I find the right fit and will provide the first manual immediately after awarding the project.
