Expert Witness in Electrical Engineering
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I am seeking an expert witness, preferably a licensed Professional Engineer in power systems to provide an affidavit before the New Mexico Public Regulatory Commission.
Goals:
- Help draft and answer questions for an affidavit regarding electrical protection of proposed AMI meters.
- You may be called for cross-examination by the utility or the regulator, by zoom, at a later date.
Required:
--College degree in electrical engineering or professional experience in power engineering
--Understanding of the concept of maximum available fault current.
--Documented experience with engineering standards in United States or Canada.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of protection features of analog and digital electric meters.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
The expert should be available immediately to start working on this project. The project is expected to last for 1-2 weeks.
