We're working on a project which intend to establish mobile connectivity through Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV).
The technologies and benefits of a fleet of UAV's connecting directly to a mobile phone on the ground using radio frequency (RF) is a mission.
Imagine a satellite network connecting to the UAV's and then to the cloud. The satellite-to-satellite and UAV-to-satellite connectivity can happen in optical wavelengths as the UAV's fly above the clouds. This combination could deliver a true 100% coverage of 5G connectivity straight to handset. The UAV's would have to have a large endurance and be directed by smart software that figures out where the demand is.
