Create a Simulink Model with 6-DOF Simulation for Rocket Trajectory
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I am looking to hire a freelance Engineer to develop a Simulink model that simulates the nominal flight trajectory for a liquid bi-propellant rocket. This model will be used for a high-altitude, suborbital launch and must follow the requirements set forth in the ASA Flight Safety Code, specifically as outlined in section 4.4.
Key Deliverables:
- Develop a comprehensive Simulink model for the nominal flight trajectory, including a 6-DOF simulation.
- The model should be capable of simulating all phases of the flight, from launch to apogee and recovery.
- Include all typical inputs and variables required as shown in the ASA Flight Safety Code (e.g., thrust profiles, aerodynamic forces, mass properties).
- The outputs should match the requirements specified in section 4.4.6 of the safety code.
Requirements:
- Expertise in aerospace engineering, particularly in launch vehicle dynamics.
- Proven experience in Simulink and developing 6-DOF trajectory models.
- Ability to work with minimal guidance and research any necessary standards or guidelines.
- Knowledge of the ASA Flight Safety Code would be beneficial for this project.
If you love to build Simulink models and just reading this job description got you excited then we want to hear from you. Make sure to include in the first line of your job application which of a rocket's flight phases is your favourite. If you don't include this, I won't read your application.
