Convert AlphaCAM CNC files from old SCM CNC programs to new Onsrud CNC programs. -- 3
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
Description of Project:
Outsource existing/proven .ard files/g-code on existing machine (SCMI) to be modified/updated/written to support new CNC router (ONSRUD). Therefore, an existing template can be used to customize the new post processor files for use on the new router. Responsibility will be to take neutral instructions from the CAM system (files provided) into the specific instructions required by the NC machine (ONSRUD).
Project Scope:
Initial – Test / Trial Phase – Take one existing millwork CAM/ARD file, convert from old system to new. Tool selection and existing program files will be provided.
• Update tools, toolpaths, and parameters as required. Company verifies operable/runs with new system. If 100% accurate, full project scope will be awarded.
• Screenshots of Alpha Cam 2023 software setup for CNC router can be provided to ensure accurate tool selection within software parameters.
Full Project – 300 – 400 pre-existing millwork CAM/ARD files, convert to new software/g-code/machine (updating all tools, toolpaths, and parameters as required).

• 1/4” plywood
• 3/8” plywood
• 1/2" plywood
• 3/4" plywood
• 1” plywood
- 1/8" Cedar (for removable panels)
• MDF
• Diabond
o Of note – Spoil board is 3/4"
90% of plywood is euro lite, the remaining 10% is birch product
