Commercial 100 kW Solar Design

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a complete, code-compliant design package for a 100 kW rooftop PV array on an office building in the United States. Because the system will be submitted for permits and utility interconnection here, proven US experience is essential—please be comfortable working with the latest NEC, local AHJ requirements, and typical utility interconnection rules.

Project context
• Building type: mid-sized commercial office.
• Available infrastructure: ample, unobstructed roof area; no parking-lot or ground mounts planned.
• Primary objective: strengthen the company’s environmental sustainability profile; cost savings are welcome but secondary.

What I expect from your work
1. Optimal string and inverter sizing, shade and production analysis (Helioscope, PVsyst or similar).
2. Single-line diagrams, conduit/cable schedules, and protection calculations ready for a US PE stamp.
3. Roof layout with panel placement, structural load map, and attachment details suited to common US racking hardware.
4. Bill of materials listing major equipment (modules, inverters, racking, combiner boxes, monitoring).
5. Permit set formatted for AHJ submission, plus a utility interconnection package.
6. Brief narrative explaining design choices and projected annual generation.

I will supply as-built roof drawings, utility bills, and load data once we start. Please share examples of previous US commercial designs of similar scale when you respond, along with the software you intend to use and your expected turnaround time.
