Commercial Aluminum Porch Engineering Plans

Job ID: 40017655

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I am ready to take an idea for a front porch and turn it into a product. Think of IKEA model but for porch. It needs to be easy to assemble and using plastic pannel that can interlock. I need a technical engineer who can convert my concept into a full set of plans that any fabricator can follow. The porch will be built entirely from aluminum and finished with a durable powder-coat, so all details—profiles, wall thicknesses, fasteners, drainage paths, even the paint spec—must be tailored to that material and finish.

The goal is simple: create a modular, affordable structure that can be commercialized at scale. To get there I will need dimensioned drawings, structural calculations that satisfy typical residential code loads, a bill of materials with precise cut lengths and hardware counts, and an assembly guide clear enough for a small shop or contractor to use without guesswork. If you prefer working in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or a comparable platform, that is perfect, as long as the final files are delivered in both native format and PDF for easy review.

My ideal partner is someone who thinks about manufacturing efficiencies—standard extrusion sizes, minimal welding, quick on-site assembly—and can flag cost-saving tweaks along the way. If that sounds like you, let’s talk timing and the milestones you would propose for prelim drawings, engineering review, and final issue-for-fabrication plans.
