Canadian Engineer for Fenestration Calculations
Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP
We are an engineering-focused company expanding into the Canadian market, and we’re seeking a licensed engineer in Canada with experience in engineering calculations for windows and doors.
Initially, we are looking for consulting support to:
Help us understand the Canadian building code requirements related to wind load calculations
Guide us through key principles, methodologies, and formulas used in Canada
Assist in integrating this knowledge into our internal estimating systems (Blue Screen and Webcalc)
This will be a consulting engagement to start, but there is strong potential for ongoing collaboration. In the future, we will require engineering calculations and stamped reports for commercial projects, and would like to work long-term with the right professional.
Ideal Qualifications:
Licensed Professional Engineer in Canada
Experience with wind load calculations, preferably for fenestration systems (windows & doors)
Familiarity with relevant Canadian codes and standards
Ability to provide stamped engineering reports for commercial projects
