Bridge Integrity Inspection
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m under contract on a property near Tyler (in Whitehouse) that has a private driveway bridge over a creek, and our option period expires next Friday.
Getting this assessed as soon as possible is critical. I’m looking for a structural evaluation of the current condition of the bridge, specifically:
The integrity of the steel beams and decking
Whether there’s any undermining or loss of bearing at the beam ends
Signs of active erosion at the abutments
Any safety or load concerns for normal residential vehicle traffic
At this point, we just need an objective assessment of its current state and whether significant repairs or erosion stabilization appear necessary. If major work is required, it will impact our negotiations or decision to proceed.
