Alley Paving & Construction Drawing for permits City of Gunnison,Colorado

Project Overview
We need a licensed Civil Engineer (Colorado PE preferred) to prepare construction drawings for paving an existing gravel ALLEY located adjacent to our industrial project at 625 S 12th Street, between Rio Grande Ave and W Bidwell Ave in Gunnison, Colorado.
The City of Gunnison Development & Permitting Department has required us to pave this alley as part of our development conditions.
We need engineered, stamped plans ready for City submission no later than Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
Scope of Work
Deliverables must include a complete plan set suitable for City permit and contractor bidding:
Cover Sheet & Vicinity Map
Identify limits from Rio Grande Ave to W Bidwell Ave
Include project contact info and general notes
Existing Conditions Plan
Utilize our site survey if provided
Identify current grades, utilities, drainage flow, and tie-ins
Plan & Profile
Alley centerline and edge grades
Tie-ins to existing pavement at both ends
Spot grades and cross-slopes every 25–50 ft
Typical Pavement Section
Per City of Gunnison Construction Standards (asphalt thickness, base course, compaction)
CDOT spec references acceptable
Grading & Drainage Notes
Maintain existing drainage flow to prevent ponding
Include erosion and sediment control BMPs per City Stormwater Manual
Utility Coordination Notes
Identify and adjust existing manholes or valves to final grade
Specifications & Details
Reference City Construction Standards and CDOT standards
Include compaction, density, and testing requirements
Quantity Take-Off & Engineer’s Cost Estimate
Traffic Control Notes / Temporary Access Plan
Deliverables
Full PDF Plan Set (11x17 or 24x36)
AutoCAD or Civil 3D Files (.dwg)
Engineer’s Estimate (Excel or PDF)
Signed/Stamped Final Plans (Colorado PE required)
Schedule
Award project: Immediately upon selection
Preliminary draft: within 3 business days of award
Final stamped submittal: no later than Wednesday, October 29, 2025
Qualifications
Licensed Civil Engineer (PE) — Colorado license preferred
Prior experience with City of Gunnison or Colorado CDOT specifications
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Available for quick coordination and same-day revisions if needed
