Trailer FEA & Compliance Report

Job ID: 39992545

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

I’ve slightly reduced the length and width of a 3.5t tandem-axle trailer purchased from TrailerPlans.com. Although the original drawings came with an engineered Certificate of Compliance, i would like to lodge an updated design and FEA simulation report with my ROVER submission here in Australia.

The updated SolidWorks assembly is mostly complete, however the axle assembly and suspension system have not been added to the updated design. These are unchanged from original plan. I will supply the current files, original PDF plans and certificate. Your task is to rebuild the missing components, run a full finite-element analysis in SolidWorks Simulation (or ANSYS if you prefer) and prepare a concise engineering report that satisfies the ROVER checklist for trailers—strength calculations, factor-of-safety tables, material specs and clear screen captures of critical stress plots.

Deliverables
• Completed SolidWorks 3D model, including axle and suspension
• FEA setup files and solved results with mesh settings documented
• PDF report ready to upload to ROVER, showing that the modified dimensions maintain compliance with the original load rating

I’m happy to answer design or standards questions quickly so you can keep momentum.
