Structural Verification by Florida PE
Budget: $10 – $15 USD
I am looking for a Florida Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with structural engineering experience to review an existing steel structure drawing package, perform the required engineering verification, and provide signed and sealed drawings for permit submission in the State of Florida.
The drawings have already been prepared and include structural layouts, steel framing details, connection details, reinforced concrete foundation details, exploded assembly drawings, and a bill of materials. The engineer's primary responsibility is to verify that the design complies with the applicable Florida Building Code and accepted engineering standards.
If revisions are necessary to satisfy engineering requirements, they should be incorporated before sealing the drawings.
Scope of Work
The selected engineer will be responsible for:
• Reviewing the complete structural drawing package.
• Reviewing the steel framing system.
• Reviewing steel column and beam connections.
• Reviewing angle bracing details.
• Reviewing base plate and anchor bolt details.
• Reviewing reinforced concrete slab and pedestal details.
• Reviewing foundation details.
• Reviewing the understructure assembly and member layout.
• Reviewing the Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Performing any required structural calculations.
• Making engineering revisions if necessary.
• Providing a Florida PE signed and sealed drawing package suitable for permit submission.
