SolidWorks Assembly Drawing Perfection

Job ID: 39791349

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I have a set of SolidWorks assembly drawings for mechanical parts that look acceptable at a glance, but they still fall short of the strict engineering standards my client and I must satisfy. Your task is to bring each file up to the level of a fully annotated engineering drawing—clean, complete, and compliant.

What you will start with
• Existing .SLDASM and related part files that already show the overall geometry and rough dimensions.
• My mark-ups outlining the specific problem areas (missing tolerances, ambiguous call-outs, GD&T symbols, incorrect BOM references, inconsistent line weights, and so on).

What I expect back
• Industry-ready assembly drawings, fully annotated with accurate dimensions, tolerances, GD&T, exploded views (where useful), and a revision block that aligns with standard practice.
• Updated part files if any modelling tweaks are required to match the corrected drawings.
• PDF and native SolidWorks formats for every approved sheet.

Acceptance criteria
1. All views, notes, and symbols conform to ISO/ASME drawing standards.
2. BOM balloons and item numbers link correctly to the parts list.
3. No orphaned annotations; nothing hidden off-sheet; print scale verified.
4. Files open error-free in SolidWorks 2020 or later.

If you are a SolidWorks power-user who enjoys sweating the details of mechanical assemblies, I’m ready to share the files and move quickly.
