Load-Bearing Wall Removal Assessment
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I’m planning to take out two ground-floor, load-bearing brick nib walls and one other GF load bearing brick wall in my residential property (Churchlands, Perth W.A) and need a qualified structural engineer provide assessment + relevant drawings.
Scope of work
• Site inspection of the existing structure (plans and site photos to be provided)
• Calculate the loads now carried by the brick walls and design an appropriate replacement support system (if required) —steel beam or lintel sizing etc
• Deliver engineering report and marked-up drawings suitable for council approval and for my builder to follow.
• Reference current Australian Standards and clearly list all assumptions.
