PA Industrial Roof Engineering Stamp - 03/01/2026 16:51 EST
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a set of drawings for a 34' × 72' roof that will cover an outdoor work pad at our industrial site in Pennsylvania. The township has asked for a Pennsylvania-licensed structural engineer to review the plans, verify the loading assumptions, make any necessary tweaks, and ultimately place your seal on the final drawing set.
Here’s where I need your expertise:
• Confirm snow, wind, and any other governing loads—my current drawings reference the 2018 IBC, and I’ll forward the local amendments the permit office provided.
• Flag and correct anything that keeps the roof from meeting those code requirements.
• Provide a signed and sealed drawing set (PDF) plus a brief calculation package suitable for building-department submission.
I’m not yet locked into exact load values, so your guidance on the most appropriate design loads for this location is welcome. As soon as we agree on any revisions, I can turn around updated CAD files for you to stamp.
Please let me know your typical turnaround for a project of this size and any file formats or additional information you’ll need on day one.
