Georgia USA, PE Truss Drawings
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a Georgia-licensed Professional Engineer to produce stamped roof-truss drawings for a single-family, 5,900 sq ft home. The architectural plan is complete; I’ll forward the PDF and CAD along with verified span and bearing measurements (these may vary slightly from what appears in the floor plan, so please base your calculations on the dimensions I supply).
Scope
• Roof only — the plan calls for a straightforward gable roof with standard trusses.
• Lumber: US-standard 2 × 4 members wherever feasible.
• Output: sealed structural drawings in PDF (and DWG if you work in AutoCAD or Revit) that I can hand to the county building inspector to demonstrate professional design. A formal permit set is not required, but a Georgia PE stamp is mandatory.
Timing
I’m on a tight schedule and would like the stamped set back as soon as you can reasonably engineer it without cutting corners. Please outline your availability, typical turnaround, and any information you need from me beyond the architectural file and site loads.
Acceptance criteria
• Calculations and layouts confirm all design loads per current Georgia residential code.
• Clear member sizes, connectors, and bracing details for fabrication.
• PDF drawings carry your active Georgia PE seal and signature.
