I need a clear, calculation-based lashing plan for a power transformer that will ride on a 10-axle truck-trailer combination. The route is all highways, so dynamic loads are predictable, yet I still want the restraint system verified against acceleration factors for braking, cornering, and minor road irregularities.
The transformer’s overall centre of gravity has already been surveyed; only slight weight-distribution tweaks on the deck may be necessary, and I will share the axle spacing diagram as soon as we start. Your plan must show where each chain, strap, or turnbuckle sits, the working load limit used, and the resulting safety factor according to EN 12195-1 or an equivalent North-American cargo-securement code. If you prefer a different standard, note it and keep the safety margins equivalent or better. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or a clean PDF drawing is fine as long as dimensions and lashing angles are easy to read.
