RetScreen Expert software to do a 4E-S
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
you will use the RetScreen Expert software to do a 4E-S (energy, exergy,
economy, environment, and sustainability) analysis for a wind turbine technology. The
program can be accessed using the Azure platform. Please consider the following factors when
undertaking numerical research:
(i) The capacity of the wind power plant for "Project no. x" will be "x" MW, and you will
be able to choose the wind technology and brand.
(ii) The location will be considered Lisbon, Madrid, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Brussel, Berlin,
Prague, Rome, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Zagreb, Sarajevo, and Ankara for Groups #01
through #14 in the software.
(iii) Performance indicators will be determined in preparation for 4E-S evaluation. Here, +5
points will be awarded for each of them if they are discovered outside of the examples
provided in the course.
(iv) RetScreen Expert must be utilized to conduct energy analysis. Each of the other ways
(exergy, economy, environment, and sustainability) will receive an additional 5 points
if they are performed solely with software.
Considering the aforementioned studies: Compose a thorough report and submit it as a single
PDF file. To be included in the report:
a. Provide screenshots of the software and an explanation of each step you took when
building your system (screenshots without proper explanation will be disregarded).
b. Using an informative flowchart, demonstrate and explain each step you took when
completing 4E-S analysis while considering the performance indicators (methodology).
c. Report and discuss all the results.
d. You must pay close attention to the format (tables, headings, figures, page numbers,
etc.) and substance of your paper. The report should have an abstract, introduction,
methodology, results-discussion, and conclusion.
