Creating data programs in an encrypted way

We have an interesting program that we're looking for someone with experience to understand the technology/program needed to solve this issue.
We are running a competition where people will select sides of a football game, but they cannot know what the other person has selected - but, when they 'match', it will be alerted to both sides. They will not know anything else about the others selections unless they matched.
Though, what is important is that no one will know the information - not even the creator of the program, or us, as the person who has made the competition. It's very important for both sides to have the information fully encrypted/secret, unless it's been matched, in which case it will be revealed to both sides.
The importance here is that no one will know, even the programmer/creator, and it can be proved in some way, whether encryption, or some level of program/already created technology that will make this 'provable' and 'trustable' to all parties.
We're looking for people with experience in this field to understand how to overcome this problem with the best solution, then create it with us for all parties.
