Academic Qualifications

I am looking for a qualified individual to assist me with my inquiry. I am a foreign-trained lawyer, from London, UK. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in IR at NYU. My initial inquiry regards my current and prospective academic qualifications; I currently have offers GW Law and Georgetown Law for LLMs next year, however, that would mean I’d have to drop out/transfer from my current master’s in NYU. Ideally, I would much prefer to stay at NYU and continue towards my degree, but after meeting with several NYU counselors, I was significantly discouraged regarding my job prospects as a foreign-trained lawyer, without an American LLM. I would therefore Like to acquire an expert opinion on the subjects matter; will an American LLM raise my legal job prospects in the US significantly? What are the chances that I will find a good job with my current qualifications? Please guide me accordingly.
