Embroidery Digitizing – HBF Financial Logo (Polo & Hat)
Project Overview
We are looking for a skilled embroidery digitizer to convert our “HBF” Financial logo into clean, production-ready embroidery files. The goal is to maintain a premium, dimensional look while ensuring reliable, high-quality stitch-outs across two applications:
Left-chest polo shirts
Front panel of structured hats
Final files must be optimized specifically for each garment type—not just resized versions.
Scope of Work
You will create two fully optimized embroidery versions of the logo:
Polo Version (Flat Fabric)
Target width: ~3.5” (final dimensions provided upon kickoff)
Optimized for cotton-blend/pique fabric
Proper underlay to prevent sinking and puckering
Clean, legible lettering at final size
Hat Version (Structured Cap)
Max height: ~2.25” | Width: ~2.75”
Digitized using center-out, bottom-up pathing
Optimized density for stiff cap fronts
Designed to maintain clean registration and structure
Logo Adjustments for Embroidery
To ensure clean production results, please:
Remove all drop shadows and glow effects
Eliminate lens flare/sparkle elements
Simplify gradients into solid thread colors with blending techniques
Preserve the overall 3D/premium appearance using stitch direction and layering
Color Requirements (Pantone References)
Match thread colors as closely as possible:
HBF Letters (2-tone blend):
Highlight: Pantone 2191 C
Main: Pantone 286 C
Gold Swoosh:
Pantone 1235 C (metallic or high-sheen preferred)
Growth Bars:
Pantone 7682 C
Silver Arc/Arrow:
Cool Gray 1 C
Technical Expectations
Proper density, underlay, and pull compensation
Clean sequencing for minimal trims and thread breaks
Satin stitching where appropriate (letters), or high-quality fill where needed
Files must run cleanly at ~800 SPM without thread breaks
No puckering or distortion on either fabric type
Deliverables
Polo Version:
1× DST file
1× PES file
Hat Version:
1× DST file
1× PES file
Source file: (.EMB or equivalent)
Production sheet (PDF or PNG) including:
Stitch count
Color sequence
Thread recommendations
Acceptance Criteria
Clean stitch-out on both polos and hats
Sharp, legible lettering at final size
Accurate registration with no shifting
No thread breaks during standard production run
Additional Notes
Final artwork (vector/PNG) and exact dimensions will be provided upon project start
If you identify any limitations or improvements, please flag them before digitizing
When Applying
Please include:
Examples of actual embroidery sew-outs (not just simulations)
Experience with both apparel and structured caps
