Ultrasonic Pest Repellent PCB Design

I need a compact, kitchen-chimney-friendly PCB that drives an ultrasonic transducer in the 40 kHz – 60 kHz band from an AC-mains supply. The goal is a reliable, low-cost circuit that keeps insects away without adding bulk or noise to the appliance.

Here is the scope I have in mind:

• Circuit conception and PCB layout, mindful of minimal component count and low BOM cost
• Full documentation package—schematic, PCB design files, Gerbers, pick-and-place data, and detailed BOM with part numbers and estimated pricing
• Advice on a suitable microcontroller or discrete-logic approach; I’m open to Arduino, ESP8266, PIC or any alternative that meets cost and space targets
• Consideration for safe mains rectification, filtering and isolation so the board can be wired directly into the chimney’s power line
• Dimensions and mounting provisions that let the board tuck neatly into the chimney housing without impeding airflow or cleaning access
• Prototype guidance; if you can arrange fabrication or test a first article, that would be ideal

Acceptance will be based on:

1. Consistent ultrasonic output measured within 40–60 kHz at an amplitude effective for pest deterrence
2. Gerber set passes standard DFM checks at a mainstream PCB house
3. Total projected manufacturing cost (PCB + assembly) hitting an economy target suitable for mass production
