Touchscreen esp-brookesia Port
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I need esp-brookesia running smoothly on the Waveshare ESP32-C6-Touch-1.47 board. The core of the job is to use the existing display driver and BSP provided by waveshare for esp-brookesia’s API. No change of features beyond that—just make everything the firmware already does appear and feel native on this hardware.
The codebase is currently ESP-IDF-based, so please stay within that tool-chain (ESP-IDF 5.x preferred). I will flash and test locally; as long as the firmware boots, renders the default demo screen sharply, and every on-screen button responds to a basic touch, I’ll consider it a pass. I can also provide a remote testing environment if required however this will take some time to setup.
Deliverables
• esp-brookesia demo ported to the device with applications.
• CMake template project files ready to compile under ESP-IDF 5.x
• A short README outlining pin assignments, build steps, and any config flags you added
I’m available on GitHub or whatsapp to answer hardware questions during the port.
