Three-Axis Joystick Schematic
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I need a schematic completed in EasyEDA for a small PCB that will trigger three illuminated or non illuminated switches. Each switch is to plug in to a JST plug. The board turns three analog inputs into a plug-and-play USB joystick (X, Y, Z) that every modern Windows, macOS or Linux PC will recognise instantly. In addition I require 2x3 male header pins that will allow 3 LED's to light up when the switch is turned on.
Connection to PC
The PCB is to have a standard mini USB type B connector for connection to PC or Mac. No drivers are required. Plug it in and use straight away.
Powered by USB bus (+5V - 500mA) so no external power supply would be required
Full-speed 12Mb USB connection.
Unique serial number that helps Windows remember each device - Controller retains settings even if plugged in a different USB port or if you use two and swap them over.
Also allows connection and use more than one at a time.
Up to five post-delivery adjustments so we can refine pin mapping, connector orientation or minor firmware parameters.
Well-commented firmware (C/C++ or MicroPython) that compiles and flashes on a suitable HID-capable MCU—ATmega32U4, RP2040, SAMD21 or similar are all acceptable—as long as it enumerates as a 3-axis joystick.
Compatible with any game that can detect and use generic joysticks - MS Flight Simulator, X-Plane, Tractor, iRacing and other driving Games etc.
