Smart Luggage Firmware Developer Needed
Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR
I’m deep into a next-generation smart-luggage security product and now need another pair of expert hands in Delhi / NCR to push the firmware forward. The hardware is built around the Nordic nRF52840, so every line of code you write must respect its low-power profile while juggling BLE, GSM and GPS in real time.
Your day-to-day will revolve around:
• Crafting a rock-solid BLE stack—this is the feature I care about most and where you should feel completely at home.
• Driving event-based GSM workflows that wake, transmit and sleep on a tight energy budget.
• Building and maintaining an encrypted data path across BLE and cellular links with industry-standard crypto libraries.
• Squeezing the last milliamp out of the system through smart power-domain control, watchdogs and state machines.
• Applying production-grade firmware debugging tactics on both RTOS and bare-metal builds to keep the device stable in the field.
You’ll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with our hardware, mobile-app and cloud engineers, iterating quickly to hit certification and manufacturing deadlines. We already have the initial board spins, schematics and a partial firmware base; your first milestone will be to integrate the revised BLE communication layer and validate it on our latest prototype.
Acceptance criteria for each milestone are straightforward: compile-time warnings at zero, no deadlocks in stress tests, current draw meeting spec across all power states, and encrypted packets verified end-to-end.
If production-grade debugging is second nature to you and you love coaxing every bit of performance out of Nordic silicon, let’s talk—I’m ready to start as soon as you are.
